Our Team :-
Adv. V. K. Thomas, Managing Partner, is practicing mainly as a legal consultant in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He has handled various trans-national and multi-million-dollar transactions on behalf of various international clients, including Indian companies and banks. He maintains very close working relationship with local & international law firms and works with them on international cross-border transactions, Project Financing, Mergers and Acquisitions.
Mr. Thomas is also responsible for strategic planning and business development towards the firm’s clientele, managerial decision making and human resource management. He was solely responsible for the setting up the Bahrain office in 2004 in association with a local law firm and was subsequently instrumental in setting up the Kochi office in 2016.
A long-time member of International Bar Association (IBA), Thomas is a regular attendee of IBA Conferences. He was the Secretary General for past several years and is currently serving as a Director of Bahrain India Society, which has been established to promote business between Kingdom of Bahrain and India. He is also Legal Coordinator of Indian Community Relief Fund, Indian Embassy, Kingdom of Bahrain. He is an Associate of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London (A.C.I.Arb.) and member of the Bahrain National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Paris. He has held various positions in various local social, cultural and religious organizations in Bahrain including ex-Hon. President of one of the largest expatriate clubs in Bahrain.
He published an “Employee Handbook” in English and 3 other Indian languages for the benefit of expatriate employees in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He is a columnist (labour and employment issues) of a daily Indian language newspaper in Bahrain.
Adv. Tinju Thomas Abraham, Partner, has experience in India and Bahrain advising companies in general corporate and private equity transactions. She was a team member in various transactions involving India’s top industrial houses during her practice with one of the top law firms in India.
